A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Amendment (No Jab No Pay Repeal) Bill 2025
Senator Alex Antic joins Health Alliance Australia to discuss his private members bill the “No Jab, No Pay Repeal Bill 2025,” which would allow conscientious objectors to childhood vaccination to once again qualify for Family Tax Benefit-A supplement, Child Care Benefit, Child Care Rebate and the Child Care subsidy. Currently under the ” No Jab, No Pay” laws, families whose children who are not up to date with the current vaccinations on the childhood schedule are not eligible for these payments.
On 17 September 2015, the Senate referred the Social Services Legislation Amendment (No Jab, No Pay) Bill 2015 was passed into law in late 2015 and became effective January 1st, 2016 in a period of less than 3 months.
